The Easter Bunny visits Notre Dame
Regional Pre-School
The Pre-school students at Notre Dame Regional School received a
surprise they never expected when the Easter Bunny came knocking at
their doors ready to escort them to an Easter Egg Hunt on the
playground. Students from PK2, PK3 and PK4 were wide eyed and eager to
follow their teachers and the Bunny to the yard filled with color eggs
full of treats. There were hugs all around as the Easter Bunny helped
the children fill their basket with eggs hidden in special spots on play
equipment and in doll houses. Pictured with the Easter Bunny is PK2
student Tori Thompson of Vineland.

Recently, students at Notre Dame Regional School in Landisville
experienced a wonderful interactive presentation by Noah Lewis. In
celebration of Black History Month, Noah Lewis presented himself as the
Black Revolutionary War Hero 'Ned Hector'. Mr. Lewis developed this
program to teach about America's Black Colonial culture. Mr. Lewis
hopes to help people achieve a better understanding about America's
Colonial past, especially the African American contribution to our
freedom. By better understanding our past, we can better appreciate
each other, he told fifth through eighth graders at Notre Dame. Noah
Lewis is available for schools, events, and general audiences.

CLOTHING DRIVE RAISES FUNDS & FUN
This is a pictorial of the events of Saturday, March 29, 2008 during the
clothing drive pick-up. We had fun and we felt like we really
accomplished something. This was an easy fundraiser and it served as
service for our families. Your “trash” was our “treasure”. Thanks to
everyone who helped!!
The
clothes were stored in Seton Hall for several months. They had to be
carried out for pickup.
-One by one they were thrown or carried out to the front lawn
These are some of our volunteers. Folks came and went as their schedules
permitted and we appreciated all their help.
Finally with boards in place to hold the load we were able to finish
up….we thought…..
When one more car arrived loaded with more bags. Now the truck was
officially stuffed and we were informed that we probably had about
11,000 pounds of bags.
Thanks to all our volunteers who I may or may not have captured in these
pictures. Some folks came to help for a while and then went to take
kids here and there as their Saturday morning schedules dictated. We
appreciated every minute that anyone could spare. We could not have done
it without you!!! It was a pleasure to work with all of you!!! Thank
you to our Notre Dame Family!!!

50-50 RAISES OVER $26,000 FOR NOTRE DAME
We thank everyone who worked to make the Night at the Races 50/50
Extravaganza so successful. Notre Dame School realized a 26,000 profit.
This is an impressive number because it compares to the same amount as
last year and this year we have less students and families. This means
that our families were our largest contributors and carried the event
with their tickets . This was especially evident in the line-up of the
final 10 winners. Everyone on the stage was a Notre Dame Parent or
Grandparent and the two top prizes were $5000 awarded to Melissa Knapp
and $10000 to Judy Cirucci. Also, the Grandparents Association won $500
which they generously gave back to the school. Again, I want to thank
the long list of 50 parents and students or more volunteers who made
this night possible. FinallY, we thank Melissa Knapp and Anita Formisano
who co-chaired the 50/50 committee for the past year to ensure that
everything went like clockwork. They worked hard and did a Great Job!!!
Thanks to Mrs. Cifaloglio for the photos.
