All Families who feel that they need financial assistance to be able to afford tuition at our school, it is important that you apply for financial assistance by Feb. for upcoming school year. Fundraising activities, government and grant funds, strong financial support from five parishes and a financial assistance program for families makes sending children to Notre Dame Regional School affordable while we maintain excellence in education, extracurricular activities, staff, equipment, technology and facilities.

Notre Dame offers its families a very unique financial assistance program.  Families receive credits toward our fund-raising fee and possibly tuition when they buy and encourage others to buy gifts cards through our school.  The buyer receives 100% value for their purchases. For example, you buy $200 worth of Shop Rite gift cards and you get $200 in cards to spend at Shop Rite. A special percentage of your purchases, which differs per retailer, is credited back toward the family's fund raising and other fees at Notre Dame. 

What is SCRIP or Our Gift Card Program?
This is an optional program created to help families pay-down any school costs payable to NDRS, with the exception of lunch or sub sale. For example, tuition, fundraiser fee, before/after care, class trips, and special order items such as NDRS wear or any other optional/mandatory fundraiser. Also, you may use scrip to pay your SMART payments. Be sure to submit your "Request to Use Scrip" form two weeks prior for processing. Please contact the school if you have any questions.

 
This is a nation-wide program where grocery stores, retailers, and many other businesses offer their gift certificates at full face value for a discount, if they are purchased through the school.
 

How Does It Work?
You or your friends, family, etc., purchase these gift certificates, at face value, from the school and the discount given by the business is recorded in an account for your family. Your recorded discount earned may be used to reduce the cost of tuition and various other school expenses.
 

Scrip has three forms:
1) Scrip Credit Earned To-date. This will help you keep track of the amount of credit earned. Please check your total occasionally throughout the year with the total that the scrip co-coordinator has. We suggest sending in a copy of your tracking form in an envelope marked scrip and a verified copy will be sent back to you.
2) Request to Use Scrip Credit Be sure to submit this form with proper backup and with at least two weeks allotted time for processing. Examples of expenses are class trip, yearbook, graduation expenses, and tuition. Payment of scrip credit may only be made to Notre Dame School or SMART, no outside organization.
3) Order form. This form is two sided and is sent home every week in the communication envelope.
Please be sure to note that all orders must be in by 9am on Mondays in order to be processed that week. All instructions are listed on the order form.

In stock grocery will come home in the communication envelope Thursday of the same week the order is processed.

Special order certificates will come home in the communication envelope the following week. Summer schedule is available in June.
